The\u00a0Huli<\/b>\u00a0are an\u00a0indigenous people\u00a0who live in the\u00a0Hela Province\u00a0of\u00a0Papua New Guinea. They speak primarily\u00a0Huli\u00a0and\u00a0Tok Pisin; many also speak some of the surrounding languages, and some also speak\u00a0English. They are one of the largest cultural groups in Papua New Guinea, numbering over 250,000 people (based on the population of Hela of 249,449 at the time of the 2011 national census).[1]<\/sup><\/p>\n
